Tupac Amaru Shakur (June 16, 1971 — September 13, 1996), also known by his stage names 2Pac and Makaveli, was an American rapper. In addition to his status as a top-selling recording artist, Shakur was a promising actor[2] and a social activist. Most of Shakur's songs are about growing up amid violence and hardship in ghettos, racism, problems in society and conflicts with other rappers. Shakur's work is known[3] for advocating political, economic, social and racial equality, as well as his raw descriptions of violence, drug and alcohol abuse and conflicts with the law.[citation needed] Shakur was initially a roadie and backup dancer for the alternative hip hop group Digital Underground. Shakur's debut album, 2Pacalypse Now, gained critical recognition and backlash for its controversial lyrics.

Shakur became the target of lawsuits and experienced other legal problems. He was later shot five times and robbed in the lobby of a recording studio in New York City. Following the event, Shakur grew suspicious that other figures in the rap industry had prior knowledge of the incident and did not warn him; the controversy helped spark the East Coast-West Coast hip hop rivalry. Shakur was later convicted of sexual abuse. After serving eleven months of his sentence he was released from prison on an appeal financed by Marion "Suge" Knight, the CEO of Death Row Records. In exchange for Suge's assistance, Shakur agreed to release three albums under the Death Row label.

On September 7, 1996, Shakur was shot four times in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas. He died six days later of respiratory failure and cardiac arrest at the University Medical Center.

MTV ranked him at #1 on their list of The Greatest MCs of All Time.

So.. I'm making an attempt to work on a disc with a "happier vibe" to it.. no party music, but more of a "popish" feel to it.. I'm told all of my music is too "dark."
Guess I can't remain an angry black man forever, huh?
Guess this also means that I may have to recruit some people to help assemble this project.. gotta hit up my people! Call in the Army, amass the troops, whatever the fuck you people say. There are a few snippets of the tracks that I'm working on at the bottom of this post.. I might just get my Kanye on and post damn near every track in its entirety when I finish them.. anxiety is crazy! I hope others are looking forward to my projects (almost) as much as I am myself.

In my apartment, I'm that dude.. I spend all day doing random things, such as hiding behind corners to scare the dog shit out of my roommates, run and yell loudly in their room to scare the dog shit out of them, and also, I make time to do things such as this (see video below):

LOL.. yes, I was SUPER, MEGA, ULTRA FUCKING BORED, AND YES I DID RECORD, EDIT, AND POST THIS VIDEO TO THE INTERNET! How much lamer can a guy get? Fuck you, lol.. that's how much lamer I can get. E-thuggin'. But anyway, this was all an excuse for me to sharpen my video editing skills (and yes, I know I need an actual VIDEO camera for better quality). I have major plans, so I need to get ready or be ready.

OH YES!! Before I go.. new music.. a child born of pure boredom.

So, I guess the smart thing for me to do, would be for me to make this my main blog.. period. I don't get too many visits, but that is partly due to the fact that I have three different blogs, and two Myspace pages.. and a Facebook page.. yeah, I have no fucking life, right?
In order for me to correct this and to make an attempt at directing traffic to this blog, I will now choose to post my lame a$$ poetry on here also. So.. yeah.. there it is.

A 12 years ago, yesterday, my favorite rapper of all time (for you conspiracy theorists aka weed smokers) died. Indeed I did (being a true fan in true fan fashion) load MP3 DISCS full of every Tupac Shakur song I have ever heard in my life and banged 'em out around all of Atlanta and surrounding areas. Call it lame, but that is my way of showing that I appreciate another person's artwork and especially one gifted at the craft they chose to dedicate their entire life to. If I was home with my homie, Skizzle, we would've turned it into 4/20 and played "light it up" for the homie 'pac also, LOL. "That is my way of showing that I appreciate another person's artwork and especially one gifted at the craft they chose to dedicate their entire life to." So, today I am choosing to post some videos of the 2pac's, just to listen to myself, add to this blank ass blog, and to share with others what they may and may not want to hear. No bootleg or unreleased tracks, just the legit videos that would have and may have been shown on television. Through ill lyrics with messages one can relate to in one way or another, an ill swag, and an impression left throughout the Rap world and the world itself, this man's life lives on. Until the end of time, I listen and pass the message on.
